A Comparison of Academic and Government Information Security Curriculum Standards
This paper compares the ISECON model curriculum approach and topic areas to the National Security Agency’s most common standard for information assurance certification -- the National Security Telecommunications and Information Systems Security Instruction (NSTISSI) No. 4011. Comparing these two standards provides a unique vantage point to better examine the merits of government and academic/industry expectations in the information security area.
