Grade Distribution and Its Impact on CIS Faculty Evaluations: 1992-2002

A significant relationship was identified between grade inflation and the letter grades issued by faculty over a 10-year period. Additionally significant was the effect of students’ expectations of high grades and their evaluations of faculty performance.
