ISECON is the oldest and longest running IS Education conference. This year promises to be another exciting year with great presentations, papers, panels and speakers.

This is a great time to be an IS educator as the field continues to mature and solidify. The IS 2002 model curriculum is a solid effort reflecting the field. The recent moves to IS assessment and IS accreditation continue to improve the quality of our educational efforts and the quality of our graduates.

We invite you to relax and build relationships at ISECON 2004. Find new colleagues that you can share ideas with (and maybe share some research together). Find ideas that you can bring back to your classes next week. And, while I am not suggesting that you skip any sessions, do find a chance to see the interesting and historic town of Newport.

Thank you for being here!!!
