Identification of items suitable for IS/IT course and instructor evaluation

This is a highly interactive panel discussion that seeks to identify a set of attributes suitable to establish a core evaluation instrument for use by IS/IT programs. Course evaluations serve two main functions: first, to provide feedback for instructional improvements, and second, to determine instructor effectiveness for purposes of tenure and promotion. It is not uncommon for these two purposes to be at odds, but it is equally possible to have a set of identifiers suitable for both purposes. A tertiary function is to assist in IS/IT accreditation. At the conclusion of this panel discussion it is expected that a set of attributes will be identified and discussed such that they might constitute a core evaluation document. Participants will have first access to the resulting report.
