French Journalist, Chamfort, in the 17th century, suggested that education should be constructed on two bases, morality and prudence; morality in order to assist virtue, and prudence in order to defend you against the vices of others. In simple terms, the concepts of morality and prudence and values education has been viewed as potential solutions to the ethics problems that the 21st century society is currently dealing with. Higher Education in looked to regarding the delivery of these solutions. The Researcher concludes with examples of policies and practices employed in the University setting which allows students and faculty to coexist ethically within the 21st century educational framework for higher education.
