MongoDB Overview: Skill Badge Workshop
Kim Yohannan
MongoDB
ObjectivesFollowing yesterday's session on bringing MongoDB into your curriculum, this workshop lets you experience the MongoDB Overview Skill Badge firsthand - the same credential your students would complete.
We'll cover the badge's core concepts:
- The Document Model & Architecture - flexible, JSON-like documents, plus how clusters, replication, and sharding enable scalable systems
- Data Relationships - embedding vs. referencing, and key features like Atlas and Vector Search powering AI semantic search
Walk away with everything you need to bring it into your course - deliver it as an in-class lecture, assign it as on-demand eLearning, or blend both. It's one of over 30 Skill Badges available, spanning topics like data modeling, indexing, and Gen AI.
Targeted Attendees Educators Who Teach Databases, Web Development, Application Development, etc.
