Abstract
Contest logistics, highlighting the challenges faced in conflicted and disrupted global logistics environments, is an emerging concept causing interference in supply chains worldwide. Challenges with geopolitical tensions, natural disasters, trade wars, and armed conflict are a few examples that continue to interrupt efficiency and flow of global supply chains. As supply chain networks continue to become more interdependent, supply chain disruptions are becoming more volatile, expensive, and damaging to efficiency. To mitigate these emerging risks, supply chains continue to seek innovation and strategic transformation to boost capabilities. This paper analyzes the use of AI within supply chains to reshape predictive abilities in order to predict risk and develop mitigation strategies into order to enhance resilience and agility in contested logistics environments.
